Video Gaming - As Female Characters -
VergeOfDiscovery - 28-01-2018
I'm not sure if I've mentioned this prior, but I'm a big fan (and supporter) of video gaming (especial on the PC).
Video gaming is what got me going in the technology industry and I will always remember that - and love it...even when (if) I turn 100!
For years now, I've found, that when given the opportunity, I always play as female character (astounds me - and not in a good way - when a game does not offer that as an option).
Playing as a guy, even some big burly character...is just so boring!
And PC games, over their console counterparts, offer far greater liberty to be whoever, or whatever you want...to be.
I remember a few years back, playing on a gaming laptop, a fairly conservative religious relative saw me playing Saints Row 3 as a very colorful female heroine.
He asked, "Is that your alter ego?" I said, I always play as someone like that.
I still do.
So if some "girl" is picking you off in PUBG, it could just be me! lol

Amusing comparison of character customization options on console vs on PC!

I`m not a gamer by any means, and the only "modern" game I have and play when I have time is Bullet Witch. in fact my middle name "Alicia" was taken from the main character "Alicia Claus"!

I'm a bit of a gamer, but my prime is far behind me, In smash and mario kart I'd just be princess peach pretty much soloy not just for fem but I found her most fun to play especially in smash and get the umbrella wack
Oh and in kart just her voice lines are funny with doing the banana. I played Lara croft the original series adored them back on the ps1 triangle boobs and all lol.
Recent times though I no longer play I was a huge mmorpg fan hitting quite high especially on wow, I was once #7 disc priest in the world not a big achievement cause its just a game now but back then I took it very seriously, I'm happy my attitude to gaming has shifted from addiction and competitiveness and more to a just have fun. I spend most of my time playing 4x games, stellaris, humankind and total war warhammer 2 especially as Morathi shes one evil B.....
Oh I also paint 40k models and have a tyranid army not exactly fem but I do find it therapeutic
Here are a few pics of my female characters Meli Tempest from FF14 and my Priest Sarane from WoW and the last place I logged out for the final time. Oh and a picture of a model I still haven't finished that has been on the back burner for months now

I too have always preferred female characters to run. From table-top 2nd edition D&D on. I also prefer pc over consoles for many utility reasons, and character creation options. Playing with friends has been nice, I just never got competitive. The elitist d baggery and greifing that some players would do turned me away from pvp almost entirely.
