In dealing with loss, I often refer to something said by Helen Hayes, a famous actress of the preceding century...yes, I know I am daing myself.
She was asked about coping with the untimely loss of her daughter. She replied ...grief is the price we pay for love." I heard this first more than 30 years ago, and I have never forgotten it.

Thanks, Kim. I could have said the same thing. Ironically, I met Helen Hayes on several occasions. I used to work at a restaurant in NY that she liked to dine at. Actually, in her declining years she was kind of ornery. Lol

I thought you might know her! Despite her ornery side, wasn't that so true. Love and loss are part and parcel to life.
We are almost strangers, but it is so cool to know someone who knew Helen Hayes!

One of my beliefs is that you can only experience love to the extent that you have suffered pain. I think it is the same thing.
Everytime I experience some emotional loss I try to console myself with the knowledge that it increases my ability to feel love and compassion. I guess it sounds silly. But it helps me.

Not silly at all. People who doesn't feel love or loss are, well, they are sociopaths. Even feelings of guilt and shame are an indication of our humanity.

That's one of the problems I have with the concept of heaven. If it's all good, how incredibly bland it must be.

Lol...you and Shaw have a lot in common, Annie (well other than that long beard he wore...tee hee)
Anyway, today is the visitation for my Wife's Step Dad. .About a bazillion people, mostly Greek, and mostly a little crazy. I may lose my mind. Should have brought a flask...tee hee.
But so many people...I never knew just how many people loved this man. We should all live so well.

Todays update. Over the last four to five years I have been steadily losing weight, hitting one target after another, stalling and the dropping more. I recently hit 160 lbs having started at 210. I dont want to go any lower, but rather now try to add some backing trying to place it where I want it. Ill let you know how that goes...lol
But regarding breasts, I could not understand why they seemed larger and seemed to be growing despite the bust measurement being stuck in the same place at 41".
Yesterday I measured again and found they had actually decreased to 40.5". How could this be?
Then I measured my underbust. Aha!
When I began my chest underbust was around 38 to 40"
Most recently it had settled in at 36"
It now measures 33"
And the calculator now shows I should be 36C rather than a 38B. I dont know...a C cup seems big, but I guess I will need to try and find out.

Smaller underbust would make 36C's look lovely I would imagine

Wow Sami, 210 down to 160, that is amazing. You know so many health benefits come with that too. Also your reduction in under bust is amazing. Regarding cup size watch this video:
