I made the gradual switch from SP to LR as my SP was running out and I was wanting to make a switch to something with a bit more 'kick'. And LR certainly has kick, as everyone warned. I only take LR about 3 times a week and fluctuate between 2 capsules and 4 capsules: sometimes I do 2-4-2 and other times I do 4-2-4, depending on how I physically feel. I have found that spacing out LR intake is best. Too much at one time has led to minor migraines. Has it 'worked'? Like I said, it's only been a month but in the past month I've made the most substantial progress. I'm not entirely sure if LR is the reason for this or if my body was just going through a growing phase. Nevertheless, I'll stick with using LR until the bottle runs out and then see where I go from there.
One question: Is it best to take you AA like an hr or so before PM or PM an hr or so before your AA or does it matter?
Good question E, I think it makes more sense to have the path ready or open so to speak for the binding to occur. In this case (scenario) AA's have shut down those receptors and making them unavailable for synthesis , so once aromatase occurs and there locked then it's possible for AA's to work. A good example of this is how 5-AR's work, they bind up free T before the conversion takes place to DHT.
This is why (and proof) of how free T can be converted to E with aromatase, and WP is so far the only choice in herbs (IMO) with the exception of some foods.

Hey there Sammie,
From what I've come across about LR and WP is that there often paired (suggested or complimented for each other) when trying to purchase them.
Hugs!

Wow.Lotus.Thank you,you can help me very much. You have better and better idea.androgen blocker/estrogenic too this is great!
What is that aromatase?
What it means: blocks 5-ar?
is extract more effective than capsules?
Well i have a little confusion.
I take PM 1000 mg now,I'll be careful LC 250 mg /third days
And what is the white peony right dose with these together?
This is the rank: one day PM/another day LC and White Peony?
furthermore: does not Maca work against estrogenic?

What is that aromatase?
There's an enzyme in the bodies of both men and women called aromatase. Its primary action is to produce female sex hormones, or estrogens. It produces them from male sex hormones (androgens) such as testosterone and their precursors.
Aromatase also converts androstenedione (a sex hormone precursor) to the female hormone estrone, another estrogen, although weaker than estradiol.
If you increase the activity of aromatase, you can increase levels of female sex hormones (estradiol, estrone).
What it means: blocks 5-ar?
5-ar - 5 alpha reductase - the enzyme that converts testosterone into dht. (It's like the aromatase enzyme). This is the one we want to prevent.
Inhibition of 5α-reductase results in decreased conversion of testosterone to DHT, leading to increased testosterone and estradiol. Other enzymes compensate to a degree for the absent conversion, spec voifically with local expression at the skin of reductive 17b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, oxidative 3a-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase, and 3b-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase enzymes. Inhibition of the enzyme can be classified into two categories: steroidal, which are irreversible, and nonsteroidal. 5-α reductase 2 is the one we're interested in, there's more but it gets extremely complicated so I'll spare you the gory details.
Herbs that help block 5 ar, licorice, WP, Reishi, SP, pygeum, nettle root, BO (not an herb), Chinese Skullcap, progesterone cream is a strong 5 ar, linolenic acid, green tea.
5α-reductases catalyze the following chemical reaction:
a 3-oxo-5α-steroid + acceptor a 3-oxo-Δ4-steroid + reduced acceptor
http://wikipedia.org/wiki/5-alpha_reductase
is extract more effective than capsules?
Generally yes imo, the first pass of Metabolism is greatly reduced, (not eliminated) but releases directly into the bloodstream.
First pass metabolism is what occurs when a drug is absorbed from the GI tract. When a drug is taken orally it is absorbed into the portal circulation (the blood vessels of the liver). Many of these drugs are very efficiently metabolized (altered for elimination) as they pass through the portal circulation during this first time. It reduces the amount of active drug that gets into the general circulation. This is first-pass metabolism.
Well i have a little confusion.
I take PM 1000 mg now,I'll be careful LC 250 mg /third days
And what is the white peony right dose with these together?
WP- 2-3x of the dropper mixed with water (6-8oz seems ok)
This is the rank: one day PM/another day LC and White Peony?
WP-I would say every other to start then combine (all) in the second week.
furthermore: does not Maca work against estrogenic?
It's said to balance the hormones, (helps control E-dominance)

dear lotus do you know if peppermint works as good as spearmint ?..I only managed to get peppermint..turns out it tasted crazy amazing and I can't stuff drinking it <3 aw man you have to try dis stuff...anyway.....is this good for nbe ...I hear it is estrogenic so will it interfere with pm? (you know estro clash) ?_? is it an-andro thingy ?
can I keep drinking it cause I really love it =/

you can use other mints. Cornmint has the same effect for lowering testosterone. but be careful of some mints' toxicity. Pennyroyal can be deadly with 1 tablespoon of extract. Other mints have way less of that harmful chemical. Peppermint and pennyroyal listed here
http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/drugi...All.html#P I'll leave it to Lotus to answer more.

Hey there rocket,
Well, according to a 2007 (pay study) Peppermint has a stronger estrogenic activity, so we know that phytoestrogens exert there activity through ER-(estrogen receptors) mediated transactivation as the binding induces phytoestrogens ER's to act as ligand-dependent transcription factor.
Just remember that tea inhibits iron absorption:
Tea's Effect on Iron Absorption

So, imo (peppermint) activates receptors, and PM needs a metabolic activation to help it work better.

thank you lovely11 & lotus =]
and as lovely said it can be used an anti-androgen so it's fine without spearmint ...... lovely11 link showed peppermint is a lil cross bred plant...(des plants spearmint & water mint have being getting in on ;] ) so it's got the genes of spearmint which makes it a--OK right ?..and it's not as toxic as corn-mint so "yay" then (=
so you feel if peppermint activates receptors it's good to mix with pm?
and overall peppy peppermint is something I can take
as long as I watch muh iron levels... do you know foods good for promoting iron absorption or counteracting peppy mint's bad behavior ?
(= it's really a nice tasting tea ..I wonder if spearmint is this nice ...I take a whole lot not just for nbe but taste is great!
aw thnx everybody ;] lotus/lovely

Mints are probably better for males who are doing nbe to take. I forgot to mention, mints increase LH and FSH which are given to cause multiple pregnancies. It might start menstruation sooner. it might extend it too. For women, one dose would be good to help the body go through menstruation.
