I admire your courage. Are you sure you will get treatment after one year? In the Netherlands, the norm has gone up to two years, and the UK GRA 2004 also requires 2 years before you get a gender recognition certificate:

I have not done an 'official year' yet, but I do not care. I am getting to where I want to be. I will deal with officialdom next year.
