Had i known this was available at 18 instead of 24, i definatley would have started earlier so i dont think it's too early to begin, but i had to convince myself that this was a reality and slowly accept he changes that were about to take place. i started off with fg sp for nearly a year before discovering pm and it gave me time to think over what i was doing and what i wanted. PM works much faster but it is still a slow process. i am yet to talk to a therapist but i may do so soon. All i can suggest is start taking the herbs and monitor your feelings/results. good luck!

I'm only 3 weeks in myself, but seeing as how our weights are similiar, I have one piece of advice.

Do not go over the recommended dosage of 1000mgs for at least a week. Headaches are not fun.

Also, maybe this is just me, but don't expect to be able to wear boxers comfortably. The scrotum seems to lose a lot of its elasticity on PM. You don't want to sit down on one of the boys. Hormones or not, still hurts like a bitch.

It could be the SP doing this....either way pretty minor drawbacks imo.

Good luck.

It's possible to get headaches on even the 1000mg base dose. I've been off PM for nearly 3 weeks now due to child development reasons, and after the first couple of weeks I definitely notice less headaches. Within the first week or so I had a really bad headache but I was also taking a high dose (750mg gelatinized to 4500mg) of Maca and I haven't gotten a headache once I stopped taking that as well. I'm still dosing Saw Palmetto to control hair loss and hopefully prevent DHT from floating around everywhere Smile

So would there be any clear advantages to start it now as opposed to your age? And did you start after getting married, and how did your wife take it?

So you think I should try it?

Does this happen often? I've never had that happen before. Did that ever happen to you before you started?

Your weight may change quite a bit as you proceed with this. You should assume you won't be able to hide them after about 6 months, although it's not like you'll be a Dolly Parton lookalike.

Ok. Though I'm relatively thin, I have some fat on my stomach and some on my breasts. Since I already have fat to redistribute, would this make the process go better or worse? And I already regularly wear undershirts, jackets, and loose t-shirts (that's my upper wardrobe for almost every day I leave the house). Would this help the concealing if I decide I want to?

No, it never happened before, and it has happened a couple times the past few weeks. But I haven't read of anyone else having this problem so maybe i'm just a flopster.

As for concealing breasts, I think undershirts and jackets would work up to a point. Any bigger than A cups, I'm not so sure. Bras are made to make them protrude, and without a bra they'd be flopping quite a bit. Also, you'd think they'd stand out more on people under 150 lbs.

But its not like I'd know from experience, I'm far below even an A.

The only advantage that I can think of would be that your body still has potentially more growth hormone production than mine. From what I've read: 25 is the average age it begins to decline, but I don't know if this is fact.

Also, you have potentially less "male" development than me, but that's not necessarily true either.

I started NBE after my first child was on the way, but not born. I told my wife 6 months after my son was born, and she wasn't overly impressed when I told her because she felt as though I had been hiding something. We had a 2-3 month recovery period and things have gotten better, but it wasn't exactly smooth. She had also been with women prior to me; don't assume this puts you in the clear Smile While I didn't assume anything about how she would react, I did feel as though she wouldn't mind.

We take things day by day at this point, but on a whole we are doing better, and trying for child #2.

Fat doesn't move around your body. You can lose it some places and gain it in others. This is what is usually referred to when people talk about fat redistribution. It isn't some magical process of morphing something you already have.
Wearing baggy clothes only helps hide until your nipples start to stick out. Then baggy clothes look like they're hung on a pair of pegs. Not a good look for male or female. Two layers, one snug or slimming or compressing, with another that is looser and darker or patterned works better. Summer is when you'll have the hardest time dealing with this. Best to decide if you really want this, and if you do then accept that your looks will never be average or typical again. If you can't live with that, don't do it.

lol I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean...male endowment? Then I'm average-ish. Why would you say that? haha

I almost always wear 2-3 layers, even during the summer. Wouldn't a sports bra or something hide the nipples though?

Hi,

In general, I would agree with the others in that you should wait until you are older before taking PM for an extended period.

However, there is an established rule of thumb used by a number of gender identity specialists which uses estrogen (or estrogen-mimics) to determine whether you have congenital brain condition that is sometimes referred to as a "transsexual brain".

If you take PM at a reasonable dosage over a week or two, and experience feelings of anxiety, then you can be reasonably sure that you are not a transsexual - in which case your desire to cross-dress or feminise is something which would be best kept until later in life.

If you experience feelings of relaxation and well-being, the chances are that you are never going to lose the desire to feminise, in which case I would agree with Dargona and start now, because your masculine physique will only develop more, and if your bones have not stopped growing, there is a possibility for some hip development - I don't know - but at least your shoulders shouldn't get any wider.

Should the latter be the case, then you will certainly need to make any girl aware of what's going on. It's quite possible that some girls may find it appealing, but they will be far fewer. I would certainly advise you to wait before starting any emotional relationship until your feminisation was more established. By that time, you may even start to find men more interesting, in which case your options would only increase. I know you are interested in having children, but banking sperm is a way of achieving this.

Best regards,

Bryony

Sports bras don't work for me. First off, I don't like how they look so right there they are out for me. They usually show unless your outer layer is something heavy like a coat. I don't like how they mash my boobs to the sides. I'm always afraid it exacerbates the spread, aka the east-west problem. People feel the straps if they touch you. And the materials they are made from don't feel like materials I want next to my breasts. I'm not a cotton bra kind of guy. You can get lycra sports bras, but they show more. A tank top can be very similar to an undershirt, and really only has the boob-mashing issue. Just get used to the idea that people will notice. Most will quietly assume it's moobs unless you do something to draw attention to them. Like having the bottom band of your sports bra show when you bend over or twist to reach something.
