But will they also notice you used to be a guy...or still ARE a guy that's gone partially fem? If they do and become confrontational about it, are you ready to have something to say or do to "combat" it?

Actually, I DID get it, but I just thought I should try to clarify why I choose tits over boobs.

Anywho depending on where you live ppl might talk but I highly doubt ppl will confront you or make that huge of a deal about it. They may just blow it off as moobs. And it doesn't matter if your transgender, gay, or an average joe ppl will find a reason to dislike u and find reasons to talk. You have to accept and love yourself and focus on those closest to u instead of wasting your time and energy on haters.
Another reason I choose tits is that, so often, working with tons of paper every day, sometimes both of my typing fingers are spilt open next to the nails, which makes typing VERY painful, so, the less letters I have to type, the better.
I've seen lots of pornos and "boobs" is used at LEAST as much as "tits".
I don't know! I've worn a huge pair of D cup inserts under a tight sweater on the way to work (at least two bus rides, a total of nearly an hour long trip) one day and had no comments at all, but, a few years later, I wore a skirt to work and had a few people comment on it! I think it just depends on how lucky you are that day. I've worn a short skirt, pantyhose and a leotard on stage for at least 20 years and hardly had anybody get pissy about it, but, twice, I've had Oi boys attack me for wearing the skirt!
MAYBE they'll just blow it off as mits, but, like I said, it's a matter of luck! You just might not happen to run into anyone like that, then, tomorrow, you might come across an entire gang of haters! You JUST don't know!! In any case, we can't all just run every time something comes to the fore! One of these days, you'll just HAVE to decide to stand your ground!

Well, your intended audience, the OP, didn't seem to get the joke, thus it was actually a failed attempt. However, I appreciated it and still smile when thinking about it, but then I enjoy puns, which I am told are the lowest form of humor.
I like puns, too! Puns and coffee!
I DID get the joke, I just felt the need to clarify myself for my use of tits instead of boobs.

But then again, that goes back to my teen years and my love of The Smiths. There was a song on the album The Queen Is Dead... "some girls are bigger than others"... but, again, I digress.

We shouldn't bite at each other, we're a community of weirdos already... why would anyone want to further ostracize one of the brotherhood of the breast? I did not mean to come off as rude or judgmental.

I just thought the way original conversation was presented was silly.
Tits and tats... how could you not laugh. Seriously. No pun intended this time.

And to address the original point, I really like Doodle's idea of saying that "I'm taking a medication that causes gyno."

Because I am... lots of it.
No harm done, I didn't take it offensively.
"Tits for tats" was intended to be funny! Glad you found it that way!

Or, you can simply put it to them this way...
