Does the Mask Govern the Mind?

I think there is some truth with how our reports of brain rewiring do correlate with a lot of the stereotypes associated with women: more emotional, cry more often, no interest in porn/masturbation more interested in clothes and fashion, etc. I doubt anyone here has said brain rewiring made them more interested in sports, aggressive and behave like an alpha male (That's brain rewiring that's gone wrong!). However, some members have shared that since being on pm their libidio have increased, but in a feminine rather than masculine manner. I think this contradicts the stereotype that women usually have little to no interest in sex.

I don't think I fall in this camp, do I? Huh

And here I was thinking that your real name was Mr. Doodlebug.

lol

What about you Sarah? Tongue

If it isn't your surname, I always kind of wondered why you picked the name Schilling.

Didn't we have a thread somewhere about where our names came from?

I don't think you're in that camp, Flame. You don't try to post in a feminine manner whatsoever. I don't think I am either, but I'm probably closer than you! lol

About the surname....no, it's not my real one. Why did I pick it? I wonder that myself. Maybe I was an old British lady obsessed with money in a former life.

But wait does that mean I'm even me? Are all of us simply puppets for our ancestors' whims? This is the kind of mysterious issue with no actionable answer that deserves its own thread!

LOL...I keep telling you all, I'm not that nice! hahahaha

Would you all be kind enough to let me retract that comment? The more I think about it the more I think it was inappropriate given the reasons we are all here. Why would I be surprised that we act, sound, feel effeminate? Apologies are on me tonight. Sorry If I have offended.

LOL, it was my favorite thought of the thread.

Therefore, it must be inappropriate! I really hope nobody takes it that seriously though. I mean, if it were true that someone was intentionally acting in a more girlish manner, the "correction" to that behavior would be to intentionally act in a more manly fashion. Which is pretty much the same thing, only in the opposition gender direction.

I think both men and women start out intentionally acting as their gender is "supposed" to act. It should be no surprise that people going through a "2nd puberty" do the same.

So...I don't see how it would be that offensive ;p

If you retract it, I'm claiming ownership!

Now just hold on there, Sarah. Firstly, Flame posted a lovely photo of herself in a black dress and heels a couple of months ago, well before the Fashion Show thread was created. Check it out. Tongue

It was that photo that inspired me to start the FS thread in the first place. Up to that time all the pictures of us girls were boob shots. Nothing wrong with boob shots, but someone once said. "Man can live by boobs alone." Big Grin

Secondly, Sarah, you are a foxy kitten. You can't help projecting feminine. Tongue

Thank you, Kari. You are a princess!

I think Doodle offended herself ;p

And Clara, I was thinking more about posting styles than photos, but I suppose you have a point. Can't get much more feminine acting than putting on a dress and heels and taking a picture of it! LOL

[giggles] Oh boy, ya'all are truly great friends. I sure enjoy everyone's company, fellowship ...and forgiveness.

...Sarah, if you want it, it's all yours!

[more giggles] Maybe we should all apologize to Jessica for hijacking her thread. ...Just kidding, I think it's mostly my doing. Smile
