The hormone party!

#1
Wink

Ok friends, time to kick-up your NBE IQ, I promise you'll get this!, (hopefully right?) Rolleyes

Anybody care to explain the Family of Hormones used for NBE?

We'll call them,

Andy-(androgens)-

Gessy-(progestogens)

Esty-(oestrogens)

I know I know, cheesy right?, just work with me here please! Tongue

Ok, I see!!, this I gonna be like pulling teeth eh? Big Grin

Like I said, you'll be able to get this!,

First thing that we need to mention is that there is ‘Grand Ma’, and she is where it all (hormones ) starts, and she is Cholesterol, so (our family) is created from (a molecule).

So, just for moment we have to put some of the family aspect aside or otherwise it will get very weird, (no jokes please).

From Cholesterol (Grand Ma) she makes Progestogens (Gessy), and from (Gessy) comes Androgens (Andy), comprende?.

Now when Grand ma cholesterol see's an old friend and his name is Enzy, (Enzyme or otherwise known as part of the P450 substrate family) they decide to get together. Anyways, when Grand Ma cholesterol (shame on you G-ma,lol) and Enzy get together they make Pregnenolone who we'll call (Greg).

So all these goings on takes place in the adrenal cortex,

So we'll stop for now and give this crazy family a break, to be continued......

It may come as a surprise, and it's not a misprint, SP lowers E.

Birth control pills (Contraceptive drugs)
Some birth control pills contain estrogen. Saw palmetto might decrease the effects of estrogen in the body. Taking saw palmetto along with birth control pills might decrease the effectiveness of birth control pills. If you take birth control pills along with saw palmetto, use an additional form of birth control such as a condom.

Some birth control pills include ethinyl estradiol and levonorgestrel (Triphasil), ethinyl estradiol and norethindrone (Ortho-Novum 1/35, Ortho-Novum 7/7/7), and others.

Estrogens
Saw palmetto seems to decrease estrogen levels in the body. Taking saw palmetto along with estrogen pills might decrease the effectiveness of estrogen pills.

So is this an effective cure for e dom

Nope, that's going in the wrong direction, lowering androgens will up regulate E. Also, taking Fenugeek if your E-dominate is also going the wrong way.

If you still believe taking 3000 mg fenugreek and 5000 MSM is a good idea I can't help you anymore, nor will I.

Hi priyanka,

FG and fennel are estrogenic, FG is high on protein, part of which helps build tissue. the Diosgenin in FG upregulates progesterone. Fennel is estrogenic, saw palmetto down regulates progesterone receptors.

I think you should look at evening primrose oil, it's 80% at anti-DHT, and you only need 1000 mg a day. I'd also consider coconut oil, (taken internally), which will also builds tissue (two tablespoons daily).

Add omega 3 for lowering the inflammatory levels our body it creates, it's possible to add fenugreek in a couple of weeks, and all you need there is 2 capsules, which is 1800 mg, there's no point in taking more FG.

And I already take 600 mg of fish oil daily.Rolleyes
So for how many weeks should I take epo? Is a month fine and after that I'll take 1tsp of fg seeds. And sp(320mg) only is that fine?also after 1 month I have to continue epo or stop taking it??
