Ladies Jeans

#1

Quick Question for all you girls wearing ladies jeans.
Our hip to waist ratio is not quite the same as a GG, so even though my butt is starting to get a nice bubble to it, my hips are very much boyish looking.
Do you girls find one style / manufacturer of jeans fit better than others ? Is there a chart posted on-line anyplace, or do you just go by trial and error?

Wrangler "Booty up" (back pocket embellishments vary widely - look for one you like)

Levi's 527 Slim fit boot cut (men's)
http://www.amazon.com/Levis-Mens-Bootcut-Covered-31Wx30L/dp/B00GAZXKG0/ref=sr_1_3?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1405080794&sr=1-3&keywords=levi%27s+527

These are my favorites in order of preference. I like boot cut because it's more common among women than men (here in MN anyway - unless you're a guy actually wearing cowboy boots). They also tend to taper at the knee which, I think, looks more feminine. Most guys tend to be frumpy about their bodies and clothing manufacturers accommodate them, women (who care) want their figures to look good and show it off with fitted clothing. Having made big sacrifices lately to get in shape, I've found the styles above fit my "in-between" or androgynous body well and have never been called out for wearing women's jeans. FYI: I'm 163, 6'0" and I wear size 8 with at least a 34" inseam.

While they are not cheap these are my favorites.... Miss Me brand jeans... My GF let me try on some of hers and she was pissed and said "never again they look better on you than me!!!!" Tongue Id recommend at least trying them on and buying in person due to the cost... It seems Macys and Nordstroms have them, wish we had either store here unfortunately we dont...

There is a store in the mall called The Buckle.... I went in for a fitting by the very helpful (and SMOKING HOT gals)... Im a size 27/33, they use European sizes... Thats about a size 8... Im 5' 7" 150-155 lbs...

I actually notice this stuff now when looking at other women and they definitely notice the higher end stuff Ive been wearing latelyRolleyesCool Not cheap but Im finding thats just how it is with womens clothes and accessories.... I dont even want to think about purses... Used to laugh and give my GF shit about buying Coach, now I want someBlushRolleyesDodgy

Nice I like the missme Arabian illusion boot cut ones!
Also their model isnt feminine shaped which is unusual they normally pick a nice butt for jeans ads so it looks like you don't need any curves to fill those.

If you want a perfect fit for your particular body, I highly recommend a line from Levis called Curve ID. They have a calculator where you identify your body type and then select from three separate lines. For me the Slight Curve line fits my poor flat tush perfectly and looks cuter than any other pair I have found.
I hope this helps.

Yes Bonita DD they are a younger look but Ive seen women my age (45 and my GF is 48) wearing themBig Grin

The way they are cut and the style really seems to work for me anyway, and I unfortunately dont have much of a figure yetWink

I LOVE the boot cut jeans myself, but I usually go with a nice open toe'd shoe this time of yearSmile

The thing that sucks about all that is I CANT seem to wear my cheaper stuff anymore now that Ive gone to higher end stuffRolleyes

Damn I guess I AM a "high maintenance girly princess" after all!!! Tongue

EvaMarie, you should show us I'm sure you look hot in those jeans. I know what you mean better quality clothes last longer than cheap ones normally so really you get what you pay for most of the time.

At the lower cost end of the market, Old Navy women's jeans are a great fit if you find the right ones. I wear 'Flirt' in boot cut most days and 'Diva' for days whenI don't mind my tramp stamp poking out the back, because they sit a little lower on the hips. At $20-$30 a pair they're a steal, and I'm normally very much in the 'you get what you pay for' camp.
