Results will never be permanent, but if you're willing to keep spending money to continue using it indefinitely, it will cause a long term reduction. Much better than shaving, depilatory, or epilatory systems. Epilatory is aka, waxing, sugaring, tweezing, etc. Depilatory is cream based stuff, IPL is Tria, etc.
Currently, the only actual laser I've seen marketed towards home use has very bad ratings and costs over a thousand dollars, for good permanent hair removal you still need to see a specialist and pay out in the thousands.
There are home use galvanic electrolysis machines, and they are inexpensive to buy, but they are very difficult to learn how to use and still, mixed ratings, and not as good as seeing a specialist who will have much more training, and much better equipment.
The product doesn't claim to be permanent but it does say there is a 70% reduction of hair. The Amazon reviews are great though, even better. And if I have to do this one a month.... to maintain... well that's a lot better than what I was doing before. I just wish they came up with one that covered more surface area. My wife said it takes forever to do her legs!
