I just re-read some threads, and I have a question. (Thread of Melissa)
My mum is 84, so I can't say what size breasts she had when she was younger, and I'll never ask her.
So the question is:
Can you have bigger breasts than your mother or is it genetically impossible?
Cordially.

Hi John, a new field of research has just been established here at BN, I'm calling it "Breast Growing Genetics" because ultimately there's really no such field of research other than breast cancer genetics research...but to your question:

According to this research paper below you have approximately a 56% heritability of sharing at least the same cup size, and that's my interpretation of the research. Can you (we) go beyond that? I think so. We're taking (and using) alternative measures to increase breast size so there's no doubt in my mind that we can exceed mothers growth.
Body mass index and breast size in women: same or different genes?
(heritability of bra cup size was 56%)
