Why do we Cycle ? Lets get a list together
I am trying to build a list of the triggers or factors which make us or start our exhaustive purges and OMG I need to try a new pair of stockings on ?
I can understand the purges as that’s WTF am I doing stuff BUT the fact that I could go 1 year 7 months without an itch or a wrinkle to TG even when handling underwear is odd , ie no feelings what so ever , zip /zero, so with me its obviously not trigger points ie seeing something female/sexy, unless I have switched on girl mode ?
The list I have so far and not on strength order is
Hormone imbalance, ie when T rises or E receptors SHOUT ?
Lunar cycle
Poss hormones in food tipping us ?
Winter cycle/sad (lack of sunlight)
Depression
Stress
Exposure to Triggers, ie stockings, panties,
Poss jiggle on breasts remind us there there or should be ?
Possibility to dress enfemme in public ,ie rocky horror/Halloween,
Ok green light from spouse/partner
Winter boobie syndrome (very strong with me this, poss sad link no sun)
TG jealousy, ie seeing others dressed/or growing
HRT pharma arousal, ok don’t know why , but when I think of pharma with me I go goosebumps,
Kylie Minouge calendars, raises my T levels beyond extreme levels, looking at any desirable females same,
Exposure to Porn, its said that looking at Porn can accelerate T level by 2000% almost instantly, can believe this as when I do my breasts ache ?
This list is trying to be a serious one so we can assemble a large one in an effort to
Help us all combat the triggers or avoid them,
Please add to list and lets see if we have any common links

ok

one more to add

Obsessive mind having one

Mine is , ie once I latch onto something I become consumed with it

(you may have noticed ), lol

so this means that there are a family of anti depressants used in certain TG areas that help

and some people have used these and TG feelings gone,

Now, that I can believe. As I said in another post, my feelings when off PM I expect border on depression. But, I doubt anti-depressions fix our GD, it simply masks it.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuum yes and no

I know several girls on Lauras where the family of anti depressants but there not anti depressants in total form ,

stopped it dead

There is a book in progress where mistaken TG feelings are in reality a certain chemical lacking and this family of "things" top the brain up and job done.

Its a small number of us , but results are startling in speed and results

That's interesting, I wonder if it would stop us wanting breasts?

So, maybe that's a call for a poll in its own .. How many of us would take the anti-depresent if it masked or cured the GD Feeling.

One side of me says no, because I feel it would not be me. But another side says it would be easier for my family and sanity in the long run. But, I enjoy my breasts, and dressing up.

I would rather be Tg and glum as eeyore from winnie the pooh, than to be "cured" of my femininity. Reminds me of how they tried to cure homosexuality with shock therapy, hypnosis and pills..etc.

I agree that there does seem to be some chemical imbalance that causes our TG desires or cravings and it is quite possible that some psychopharmacological drugs will eliminate the cravings, but at what long term cost?

After reviewing Robert Whitaker's book Anatomy of an Epidemic I refuse to take psychopharmacological drugs. If you don't have the desire or time to read it Dr. Pam Popper does an in-depth 10 part video review of the book where she explains the info contained in the various chapters and the scientific studies behind the conclusions. Here is part 1.

Of course you can listen to any Robert Whitaker's lectures (here's one) found on Youtube. It seems some psychopharmacological drug use leads to more psychopharmacological drug use. This ultimately leads to more folks disabled due to mental illness not fewer.

That said I'm willing to take a chance with the introduction of basic hormones to address these cravings. It may or may not be better than psychopharmacological drugs but at least the drug I am using (estradiol) is specifically found in nature to address my exact cravings in half of the population. I think PM acts very much in the same manner.

I don't know why we cycle, but I don't think psychopharmacological drugs are the answer.

Fair point Wendy

but which is more harmful

loss of marriage
destruction of career
loss of family/friends

those alone will put you on the nervous breakdown/anti depressant files ?

Not all of course

and if you can keep the fine line balanced with e , yes job done
