point of no return

#1

I ordered some PM, havent got it yet. Ive also been doing a lot of research on the subject. I'm not really going for any transition or anything but I like the idea of loss of libido and perky nipples. That said I dont want full on boobs. My wife would freak out and honestly I cant discuss this with her. I am also not a cross dresser and dont really have any huge desire to be feminine. Im just concerned about straddling the fence per say and if anyone has had success with this. I'm also concerned because I've read of some who became addicted to the affects and had a hard time stopping. Am I playing with fire? Of course. Any I'm willing to accept any and all outcomes. Just trying to get an idea if this is possible or anyone has succeeded staying on the fence. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

It is possible to straddle the fence, but once the PM starts to reconfigure your brain wiring, you may not want too. I am no expert, but the fact that you are even here looking at this tells somthing different that you have not admitted to your self yet. A few on this site have been able to straddle the fence, so there is hope.

Here's what I think happens. Introducing estrogens into an estrogen-deprived FEMALE brain in a male phenotypical body causes a strengthening of the female drives, which causes someone previously unaware of their transgender status to "cross the point of no return".

Therefore, if you are truly only a crossdressing male, and not a transgender woman just unaware of the fact, there will be no "point of no return" in your case and you can easily just "straddle the fence" as Jannet called it.

However, if you are a transgender woman, then you do "risk" awakening yourself to it sooner than might otherwise have happened. It's up to you whether it'd be better to find out now or if that's a risk you wouldn't want to take just yet.

Personally I think that for transgender women, the sooner we know it, the better.

You sound like the person I chatted with Yesterday in the chatroom. If you are, hello again, and welcome. If not, well hello and welcome. Wink

I don't think there is really straightforward answer to your question. Everyone's body and chemistry is different. What has affected a few one way, may affect another few a different way. After reading so many posts on here over the year, many folks started out with one intent, and ended up on a completely new path that was never in their original scope. There are others that have been able to stay the path of their original intent.

For myself I do not see transitioning in my near future, but I am not one to say never. I just know better that to deal with any absolutes. Big Grin I know with me NBE has lowered my libido to where it is not controlling me, I control it. I have also been developing breasts with my current regiment, and I am okay with that. Big Grin I don't think you will be able to gain control of your libido without potentially ending up with some level of breast development.

Best of luck wherever your path may lead. Cool

well ive never been an alpha male and probably more submissive then I would like to admit to myself. Have I ever contemplated being feminine? Sure. I never took those thoughts too serious though. Mostly because I think I would look terrible ha ha. But yeah the brain rewiring kinda scares me because I do have strong desires to be a sissy at times. I guess its mind over matter. Maybe i'm purposely hiding something from myself. Dunno. By the way I said I "dont" cross dress, never have.

@fire and ice, yes that was me ha ha. Thank you again for taking the time to answer so many of my questions Smile Yes I think you are correct on the intent thing. Will my intent change is the question. I'm sure its possible. I'm just trying to guage how often that happens. Its a possibility I need to take seriously. And obviously we are different. I'm sure it comes down to the individual.

Ummm difficult

Look at Eva

Strong sissy desires

She is a woman now ?

Estrogen opens Pandora box or minimises desires

It's a real 50% gamble

I am not a believer in the taking estrogen makes you want to become a woman theory.

There is plenty of evidence to the contrary. Estrogen used to be given to male sexual deviants as punishment. The most famous case is Alan Turing (guy who invented the first computer to break the nazi code. There's a movie about him. You should check it out.) He was gay, which was a crime in the UK at the time so he was given estrogen to curb his sexual impulses. He (along with many others who received such treatment) became impotent, sterile, developed breasts and committed suicide as a result.

Have there been people who have said they just wanted breasts and then gone for a full transition? of course. But I suspect if those people were completely honest with themselves, transition was something they had considered from the beginning. But looking at the destination from the start is very daunting. But once they take the first step, they decide they can do another step, and then one after that and so on until they've ended up transitioning.

So, want to know how things will end up with you? Take a deep hard look inside yourself (and be honest) and that'll lead you to your answer.

I don't believe there is a true rewiring of the brain. I chalk it up to gender preference, sexual orientation, socialisation, and psychology. If you talk to a Psychologist about gender issues sexual orientation issues and social standing you learn we are born that way. If you haven't come out of the closet as a transitioning person or androgynous or a sissy male then you may be confused but not suffering from a miswired brain.

Hello wmpwiwlw.

Since you have no desire to grow boobs, crossdress or otherwise be feminine, I'm doubtful you'll be addicted to the effects of pm. You might like how it degrades your libido, but I think an anti-androgen can do that just as well without the likely feminizing effects. I know you already ordered some pm, but perhaps in the future just taking an anti-androgen may help with you desire to straddle the fence so to speak? Sticking with anti-androgen will probably help you manage your libido without making your wife think you want to grow boobs or even transition.
