Just saw Rogue One and one of the unsung stars is our water covered planet.

The visuals are stunning, but one of the chief locations makes it even more so...and you can tell it's here.

As bleak or dark or as empty as space might be imagined, the depiction helps one appreciate that if any other advanced life forms found this place, they'd be immediately drawn to it...at least the best parts of it.

After seeing the film and being left with that impression, I looked it up and yes it is Earth.
