Importing HRT into the UK

#1
Question

Hi All,
Has anyone in the UK had any (customs) issues importing/ordering from pharmacies in Vanuatu.
I'm considering moving to HRT, won't be until spring of next year, just trying to get things lined-up well in advance.

Afaik this seller in question should work fine delivering to UK... But there's something else, for injectables, look for Vannapharma as they are based in UK, so getting injectable estrogen from them obviously is super easy over there, no need to wory about customs at all and their quality and prices are decent from what I heard.

Thankyou DiDi,
Currently having a good look at their site, I wasn't aware injectable supplies were that easily available; opens a lot more options.
I have a few months of research to do, there's so many options available, they all seem to have advantages and disadvantages.

Friend of mine recently bought injectable from Vannapharma and she's been pleased with it. Heck I could stock up from them too if it weren't for the UK to EU customs hassle.... Actually there might be a way to bypass that using a parcel forwarding serveice, but I never tried that from UK. It could work.

Btw I would absolutely love to have a injectable supplier within my country, its really pain in the ass to have to always play the customs roulette with these things. Also another UK based friend bought stuff from Inhouse Pharmacy and it worked out fine. And then there's the place which delivers to UK from Hongkong which also seems to work.

For injectables to UK, this is worth checking out, the entire site is very useful.

Thankyou again,
Also been looking at DIYHRT.Market; it's interesting that so many stores show almost all patches as being out of stock for the past year.

This is a manufacturer/supplier issue which goes all over the marker from pharmacies to underground stuff. Patches are very often out of stock here in Finland too and its some times absolute pain in the ass to get them. Also patches cost way too much to make even sense to use them, the only reason I do is that I've had them govt paid and right now I'm stocked as my gf gifted me many boxes of them as she didn't need them for now.

Injectable is the best way to ensure that you never run out of affordable estrogens, patches are the worst on the price, also not the best for maintaining decent levels, perfect for balancing the levels though and for minor adjustments, but if you play smart, do not become dependent on patches. Gel or injection is your best friend on DIY estrogens. Also don't bother with pills as your mainstay either, transdermal or injection is the best method for this anyway.

For stabilising levels, patches are great. For a minor boost when E is low before injection, gel is the fastest and super easy to use. For price, efficiency and longetivity, injection always wins. If you go that route, just learn to do it clean and you're good to go. Big Grin Oh this reminds me, I should some time write a guide thread about how to deal with injectable estrogen, I don't think there is one on this forum and maybe some ladies here would appreciate it.

Hey!
I just bought one tub of estogel (spelt like that) from inhousepharmacy and they shipped yesterday to me in the UK from Vanuatu.
As soon as I have news of the package I'll post here to let you know.
I paid £50 for it and I'd be annoyed if it got lost, stopped, or if they added taxes.

When you get to the sipping section on the website they say that the British custom only charges VAT for amounts over £130, so I hope that this shipment will simply fly under the radar.

Hi ,
I buy my HRT from InHouse Pharmacies Vanuate and have never had an issue, other than having to pay them in USD.
They ship quickly and usually arrives 2~3 weeks max.

Makes me wonder if I could order stuff from them and use parcel forwarding to avoid any possible hassle with Finnish customs... That might actually work. I'm tempted to try as Inhouse sells very affordable domperidone. Too bad I don't know if I could order straight from there, but that would likely not work, parcel forwarding via France might do the trick as that has worked for stuff coming from Ukraine and Turkey, likely works for other countries too.

I have been thinking about actually trying this out when I can afford it, order a small batch of domperidone and have it sneaked in by parcel forwarding. It wouldn't be a huge loss if it got stuck somewhere.

Many thanks for the feedback,
I'm currently looking at trying a Gel to start with and see how I get on with it.
Top of my list (at the moment) is the VannaPharma Gel then Inhouse (0.1%) Gel, both are currently out of stock; I don't intend to order until after New Year, so plenty of time to watch stock levels.

Always nervous of ordering "stuff" this time of year, with Black Friday, Cyber Monday etc. and the run-up to Christmas, delivery services (in the UK) become very unreliable.
