My left one is more of a handful than the right, and my wife's is too.

We're both right-handed, but I don't think becoming ambidextrous would make a difference. Only the truly beautiful models and film stars are perfectly symmetrical (and not always then). Most people have the entire side of their body a different size to the other side.

My left foot is a half size bigger than the right for example.

It's easier to see if you take a photograph of your full face and put a mirror edge down the centre, so that you see a face made up of one side only, then reverse the mirror and do the same on the other side.

You should see the difference more clearly then. You'll probably find that the left side of your face is bigger proportionately than the other side. It's quite freaky really.
