Hello everyone, as a long time lurker I've decided it was finally time to introduce myself.
My screen name is The Annalyst, but you can call me Anna for short. I'm very interested in the effects of NBE herbs, mainly the so called "mental benefits", but also because I've always wanted to grow my own breasts and this seems like the safest way.
I've been on PM for a few weeks and am just beginning to feel the effects on my body but the mental benefits elude me, or maybe my understanding of them?
For the most part I'll continue on in silence posting here and there on threads that interest me. But if I get substantial results I'll definitely post some pictures. Large breasts have always run in my family so there is a good amount of potential there

That's cute, I like that...
Welcome Anna, I'm not a real big believer in the whole mental benefit thing, so I can't really help you there. But I'll try to answer any other related NBE questions you might have. I encourage you to involve yourself in the discussions, who knows you might enjoy it.
Best of luck!

I think Clara is more eloquent on mental benefits, but here are my two cents.
Mental benefits can take several forms, but they all refer to feeling better mentally due to the PM. Some examples are reduced anxiety; less urges to crossdress, view porn, masturbate; just feeling more like yourself, feeling better about yourself; reduced irritability.
Does that help?

Hi Anna a few weeks is not long.... When I started it was about a month when the growth started, you will know when that happens for sure
I didnt notice anything at all for the first 3 weeks mentally, I did see maybe a bit more boob fat but nothing until one month... I was really thinking this stuff just doesnt work, WRONG I was
Over the last 5 weeks Ive lost a inch over the bust, stayed the same under AND gained a solid inch across my nipples
The "mental benefit" for me is knowing its working to feminize my body, THAT makes me feel great, otherwise Im pretty much the same as ever in the head, NUTZ!!!! LOL
We all love to read the posts here so feel free to post whatever you want
Welcome

Good explanation, Michelle. You can move to the head of the class.
Welcome, Anna. Glad you decided to join in the fun.
Increasing one's estrogen level can reduce the anxiety, mental distress and general discomfort of having been deprived of a means to express one's transgender identity. There are estrogen receptors in the brains of gender variant males that when starved for estrogen cause various psychological problems. If you're not gender dysphoric, taking PM (an estradiol mimic) probably won't produce any mental benefits. In fact, it might very well make you feel worse mentally. Do you long to be or live the role of a woman, or is fantasizing about having boobs or dressing up in women's clothing just a sexual kick? It's not always easy to know before hand. Taking PM will often reveal the answer.

Thank you for the welcome
It does help a bit Michelle. I guess I will just have to wait and see how and if PM affect me mentally. I'm a pretty calm and laid back person,(e.g. I go out with my toes painted as a guy without hesitation) so I don't think the metal effects may be as pronounced on me.
I'll be sure to contribute when I feel I can add to the discussion, or have anything interesting to say
Until then I'll be stalking threads, and researching the different methods of NBE. There is so much information on these forums; it's really amazing.

Hello Anna.
Welcome to the board.

One of three possibilities comes to mind:
1. It may take more time for the mental benefits to kick in.
2. You may need to increase your pm dosage to get the mental benefits.
3. You may not get the mental benefits at all. Some members have reported this experience.
For much of my time pursuing NBE, I needed a higher dose of pm to maintain the mental benefits than to promote breast growth. Taking an anti-androgen (Spearmint) helped me to get the best of both worlds: getting breast development and mental benefits while taking a moderate dose of pm. You may also want to consider taking a supplement or two to help make pm more efficient in your body.
