One thing I have noticed is that the corded versions, have more power and seem to do a better job with less pain.
The cordless ones are great when they are new but as the battery ages they lose the quickness of yanking the hair out and its much more ouchy. so to speak.
I have a smaller corded Emjoi, and the Braun 7 cordless.

OH and please do keep your skin tight. its ever so nasty when your skin gets caught.

for those who opt for shaving instead of epilating::

Use Hair conditioner instead of shaving cream. a lot of GG"s use it to shave their legs/private areas, instead of shaving cream.. for whatever reason, it prevents "razor burn" (those nasty little red bumps after shaving.)
