Manue's Transition Logbook

#61

Manue,
So sorry to hear about the harassment, in this day and age I would think it doesn't matter, but I guess it all depends on location. In the USA trans has become more accepted now than back in the 1980's when I entered the job market. Of course there's still places in the USA that discrimination still takes place and is usually covered up by the employer.

Stay strong, don't back down on your legal remediations and try not to wall people out too much, there's someone out there for you, if you want an intimate relationship with a life partner, it will happen, of course there's nothing wrong with being by ourselves. After my last wife passed I was content to be single until I passed away, then 15 years later I met a wonderful woman who loves me, even with all my quirks, for lack of a better term.

The pictures you posted show a lovely young woman. I ope things get better for you I would not call t a curse you are who you are if people can't accept you as a beautiful woman they are not worth your time  Smile Smile Smile

Thank you so much for your kind support. It truly means a lot to me. Just to clarify, I wasn’t referring to being trans as a curse, but rather being intellectually gifted. When I first learned about it, I was upset because it suddenly explained so much about my life and the challenges I’ve faced. It took a lot of research and reflection to place myself in relation to others and make peace with it.

I do wish I had discovered it before transitioning, as being perceived as a woman tends to amplify these challenges due to strong societal biases.

My only tool against those biases is to remain calm and relaxed at all times. It has helped me manage these complexities effectively.

Thank you for your kind words and support. My understanding is that the situation for trans people here has actually gotten worse as it becomes more visible and politicized. Sould I move to the US ?

As for boundaries, being firm about them has been a game-changer. It’s fascinating to see how much respect and understanding it commands when actions truly speak louder than words.

I’m so happy to hear you’ve found someone who appreciates you for who you are. That’s beautiful and inspiring. As for me, I still have an active dating life but I’m not in a rush to get into another relationship. I’m in a season of self-discovery and learning so much about myself, and I’m enjoying the process.

To all my lovers and detractors,

2024 was a year of profound transformation for me: a journey from bitterness to enlightenment. Each challenge shaped me, every triumph inspired me, and even the obstacles left by others taught me resilience.

As we step into 2025, I anticipate even greater challenges ahead, but I embrace them with hope and determination. May this year bring growth, clarity, and purpose to us all.

Wishing you all a year filled with strength, love, and moments of light.

Warm regards,

Manue  Heart

Hello Eloise!

Thank you so much for your kind words, they truly mean a lot. You’ve made such a keen observation here, and I appreciate it. While I believe everyone faces their own struggles and bad days, I tend to feel things very deeply. I live with passion, and I approach challenges with the intent to stand up, learn, and grow from them.

It’s been almost five months at my new workplace, and despite earlier difficulties at former jobs, I’ve been able to earn my place among a team that values me for my collected composure and dedication.

Thank you for your unwavering support, Eloise.

I’m confident that the best is still ahead of us.

Wishing you a wonderful New Year, darling!
