Fenugreek safety

#1

There have been references to some studies concluding that Fenugreek may have risks when taken in some, typically unspecified or very large quantities. Often the abstracts do not mention the dosage nor much other qualifying information. However, I found an article going through very many studies, and categorizing them by how reliable they are for making toxicological conclusions. Very many weren't considered reliable for various reasons. This article ( https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6482331/ ) then summarizes conclusions from the most reliable ones, and they are showing that Fenugreek is in general very safe: Except for some people having allergy or it occasionally causing stomach issues , Fenugreek was well tolerated in toxicological analysis.

Of course, already common sense dictates that too much of whatever can be bad for health, and allergies for some people can be an issue with "anything". But my peace of mind was reassured by the results: Fenugreek is by FDA "Generally Recognized As Safe" - and those analyzed studies confirmed its safety.

Any thoughts about this subject?
