So, I read a few posts that said BO and PM don't mix. Is it just those two that cause problems together? Or does BO or PM just not play well with others?  Is there a thread that covers bad interactions?

I have not heard of BO having a bad interaction with anything else.

There is a thread about PM somewhere that discusses its interactions and side effects to look for. I looked for it but there's so many threads to look through and I don't know how the search function works on here.
