I think 2000 mg of BO is considered to be the maximum safe daily intake. Also, you should check what for instance Lotus has written about vitamins and other supporting supplements which are recommended to reduce risks. For example, BO has been reported to increase risk of blood clots.

Reishi is usually considerd to be very safe in reasonable quantities.

Thanks Teddy, Iv'e looked at the forums and the research but you get caught up in all info. I am going to go down the pm route to see the difference to bo and what it can do for now, I have gone from zero to 42c on bo and fg but think I am wanting faster results even though I know its a marathon and not a sprint. There is a lot of information to digest and then work out what is best for you.
If it helps, from my experience BO works faster and better than PM and doesn't come with the PM induced DVT risks!

Thanks wee2er having read the posts on bo and pm and all the work that Lotus has put in with all the information I've decided to stop on bo and rr for now and give my body chance to see better results without risks

Forget about PM, it seems too dangerous and better alternatives exist. BO is said to be optimal at 1500mg per day, but nowhere does it say that it would have a maximum safe dosage, but common sense is that its not worth it to overdo anything. I don't know about any mention of bovine ovary causing blood clots, but it does contain bioidentical hormones in a mix that isn't clearly know and progesterone and oral estrogens both can make blood thicker so keep that in mind.

Anything starting from 500mg works, 1500mg is probably optimal, I've gone up to 1800mg, then 2300mg, 3300mg and now 3100mg, all have been effective, higher is a bit faster, none has caused any side effects other than massive breast growth and full body feminisation.
