I tried posting an intro yesterday, but it never showed up. Maybe I forgot to hit the submit button or something, I've been known to do that. I am on a slow path to transition. I have take 2 Swanson Estro 8pn, reishi and matcha green tea for about 20 months. I have some nice growth. I love reading about nutrition and supplements. I am happy to have found this site!
Hugs to all,
Kay

Welcome.
I am curious about your experience with Swanson Estro 8PN. I tried it for about 30 days and had side effects that made me stop. Main side effects for me: blood pressure increased; foggy thinking; sleepy/lazy attitude; hard to think clearly; difficult to concentrate on driving in heavy traffic; slight continuous headache; difficult to read the newspaper. In that short time I had softer skin and my nipples got more sensitive; no change in body dimensions. I recently started using Hops oil to assist with getting to sleep: It seems to work. With the hops, my chest feels tight and slight aching. Some minor, but manageable, GI issues. Amazon--- Hops Tincture, Organic Hops Extract Drops (Humulus Lupulus) Dried Flowers ($20 for 2 oz bottle).

Hi,
I started with one pill a day for about a month. I had no side effects. Then I switched to 1 pill in the morning and one at bed time. I do not seem to have any side effects with that either. In fact, my blood pressure is some what on the low side. 110 /70 as an average and I come from a family with high blood pressure. If I take 3 pills of 8pn a day, I start to feel jittery and have trouble sleeping at night. So 2 pills is my sweet spot. I have had some nice breast growth, although I am not a large cup which is fine as I do not present as a woman all the time. I also take 2 reishi, a strong cup of green matcha tea, several cups of regular green tea, DIM and melatonin at bedtime. The breath growth is slow which is fine for now.

Kay, your other post did appear...it's in the "Transgender" section. Here's the reply I posted:

Welcome to the group. I'm so sorry to hear about the difficult time you've had over the years. So many struggle with this, especially from "our" generation. I've been out and about to a few interesting places lately and I've been surprised to see many young trans and/or gender-ambiguous people out there, trying to live the best possible versions of their lives. While I do envy them, I'm happy for them, because the world, though imperfect, seems better than the one we grew up in, with regard to these issues.
Here's a thought: maybe you can play with low-dose HRT or herbals. I've found my small developing breasts and fat distribution thrilling - and I'm the only one who knows about it. I do fear that my boobs will continue to be a challenge and have found that once I started down this rabbit hole, it became impossible to stop. But the point is that I'm getting some satisfaction from changing my body into something else, something that feels better. I wish the same for you.
One word of caution: the risk of developing a potentially deadly blood clot is real. I had one. I'm using topical progesterone cream and have made my own Pueraria Mirifica suppositories in order to bypass first-pass liver metabolism and reduce the risk of another clot. Look into this issue and consider it carefully, as it's a real concern for middle-aged+ folks.
