I have only used BO blend,I have no experience with PM, but I have heard about the black line. it sounds like it's nothing to worry about. I have heard PM and BO may compete and cancel each other out, so if you use BO cream and cyle PM, maybe use BO cream on your non PM days. One day there may be more studies done on NBE, but until then it's trial and error and learning from each other.
