Asellus HRT journey - Come give me advices !

#1

Hello everyone,

I'm a french 32 years old MtF, who started HRT 4 months ago. I was at start only on Oestrogel, but due to low rate of estradiol 3 months in (60pg), I switched to injections 1 month ago (Estradiol Undecylate) with the aim of doing oestrogen monotherapy.

As you can see in the pics below, I'm still at the start of my journey, I'd say that I am in Tanner stage 2 (mammal glands), beginning of stage 3.

I was wondering, despite the HRT, if you have any ideas of additional things I could do :
- Do you see any supplements (not messing with estradiol level obviously) that I could add ?
- Do you think I can already start breast pumping ? I understood it was safer to wait a Tanner stage 4 or 5, hence around 1 year or 1.5 years HRT, before doing so
- Anything else in mind ?

Thanks in advance for your help !

Can I ask you a question? Is your HRT journey because you wanna be a woman or because you want to feminize yourself? I’ve been on and off HRT for the past six months not even on it long enough to grow an inch upstairs but I would love to take more of a woman shape, but still stay a man

Hello Mindhak, in my case I'm MtF, my goal through transition is to live full time as a woman in society.

If you have specific questions, to maybe help yourself understand better another standpoint if you need it, you can DM me.

Greetins everyone, thanks to the people who answered me in DMs, specially Lotus for all the good advices, here's a sum up of what I plan for now and additions infos :

HRT
My lab work 1 month ago, I was still using gel :
Estradiol : 62 pg/mL
Testosterone : 0.52 ng/ml = 52 ng/dL
I know that estradiol was clearly too low, while my testosterone lowered a lot (668ng/dL pre HRT), which is encouraging.
This is why I switch to estradiol injection.
I should reach an average of 300pg within a reach of 350/250pg of estradiol, given how my testosterone lowered with only 60pg of estradiol, I hope that I won't need an anti-androgen, we'll see next lab test.

Breast pumping
Apparently HRT start and breast pumping are compatible.
I'll base my strategy on HelloDidi excellent tutorial, hope to manage to do it 3 times per day, we'll see.

Supplements
Supplements I'm already taking are :
- 20mL/day Fish Oil (good fat for Omega 3)
- 10mL/day Cod liver oil, good for vitamin A (no impact on breast growth to my knowledge) and vitamin D (can help growth hormone, 10mL = 800UI approximately)
- 500mg/day L glutathion (no impact IMO)
- 300mg/day L cysthine (no impact IMO)
What I will add for additional breast growth :
- 3g/day MSM

Hello everyone, not updating regularly and not actively contributing to the forum even though I lurk a lot, but here's an update.

Results are a bit dissapointing to me in a year, see pics added, but I started progesterone not too long ago + added a topical treatment and I feel like it's giving some results, hope it will work.

HRT
Estradiol : 441 pg/mL
Testosterone : 0.236 ng/ml = 23.6 ng/dL
Prolactine : 596 µUI/mL
SHBG : 151 nmol/L
Results are fine, I m on estradiol undecylate injection 8mg per week, added recently progesterone 100mg (anal) per day.
I'd like to try adding oestrogen pills like a week per month, can help for E1 levels in some cases, I'll see if it helps or not

Breast pumping
Resuming breast pumping right now after having stopped for a while. Though I'll certainly have to stop, or do it maybe once a day at best, due to schedule.

Topical protocol
Added a topical protocol using the work in the forum like 3 weeks ago, I'll see if it yields results
Morning : 25mg DHEA
Night : 2 mg oestrogen gel, 20mg progesterone gel, 25 mg DHEA
Added bicatulamide 25mg twice per week to avoid eventual trouble with DHEA

Supplements
Taken in the evening
- 10mL/day Cod liver oil, good for vitamin A (no impact on breast growth to my knowledge) and vitamin D (can help growth hormone, 10mL = 800UI approximately)
- 2g/day MSM

- 50 000 UI Vitamin D once per month
I'd like to try :
- mk 677 10mg/day, i wont take it too long I guess
- melatonin 1.9mg before sleeping
- bore 5mg/day
- citrate calcium 500mg/day

I also tried Pioglitazone for like 6 months, 15mg per day. Even though I ate correctly, and gained some wieghts on the period, fat redistribution was great for the butt area, but it didn't improve anything on breast size.
I also tried Adifyline for 3 months, on breast, with 15% DMSO on a cream specialised for HRT, again, no interesting results.

Hi Asellus,

Looks like you are on a good and solid programme to me, so stick with it as you are definitely making progress. We all react differently so inevitably rate of changes vary considerably.
If you are not already doing some, try lower half feminisation exercises, see YouTube there's loads of lovely ladies doing them, they do help in shaping butt, thighs, and hips.

Remember, it's not a race, more like a nice long enjoyable walk in the park, enjoy it.

Thanks for your answer !

Indeed, I'm also doing a work out specifically targeting glutes.

For the enjoyable walk in the park, I agree that I'm quite impatient. You're definitely right, but I often feel that I've been robbed of my body, so it's hard for me to be completely peaceful on the subject.
Also, this is this ferocious mindset that lead me to truly express myself and to be able to start HRT and everything and truly accept who I am and how I want to live my life, contrary to what society had decided for me. So I'd say that it can be a strength, but yeah finding the right balance and not being completely obsessed about it is sometimes hard to achieve.
