Weezer's HRT journey

#21

Yet to hear from the endo dept for an appointment date, but they did say it takes a few weeks for them to call, be patient, I hear you shout LOL

Been thinking a lot about how to approach the endo appointment, do I just say I'm trans but male staying male, ie. no intention of social transitioning. Even though I consider myself as cisgender. Or go with what I feel - cisgender male who runs much better on E.
Anyway, lots more time to think that conundrum through.

Just booked my hormone blood tests for Jan end (OMG another year has flown by!), train tickets booked to as its a visit to London! A bit of a faff, but still much cheaper than buying a private online test. The other benefit of doing it at the London clinic is that they'll do a full blood test of everything, so all good info.

It's brilliant option for anyone stuck in the UK's gender backlog or like me diy'ing it, its a NHS funded private gender clinic so all its services are free Smile Only downside is they can't prescribe but can advise on blood results etc.

Will be interesting to see what difference the change from 4mg progynova to Een has made, which will then see if/what further changes are needed.

Congrats Wee2er, you've got great symmetry... and ideally that's what we want to see in the first couple of tanner stages
I estimate you're at tanner stage II. Great work  Hug Celebrate

I'm not familiar with how HRT is handled in your area, but over here HRT is also given to Non-Binary patients. Maybe you could go with that angle?

Congratulations on your latest gains. You have a nice shape that's building. I wouldn't put too much thought into eventual breast development. Whatever is going to happen, will happen anyway. Just enjoy this wonderful ride.

I'm visiting family this weekend that haven't seen me in a year+, and I'm not planning on wearing my compression shirt. I'm hoping to get by just with dark plaid shirts. I went to the local military veterans beer hall the other night with a dark plaid shirt and no one noticed my shape.

My point is they're easily hidden, and how you carry & present yourself in public goes a long way in this regard.

Best of luck to you.

Hi Lotus, many thanks for your comments  Hug never really thought too much about tanner stage, but stage II sounds good to me. Yes, I do like how mine are symmetrical and love how they are feeling fuller.

I'm just rereading your topical about RC & E gel to help with areola growth, as I always think mine still look too male.
I have some E gel and already use RC in my topical, so think I'll create a sub topical routine - smear a dollop of E gel on both areolas & then add 3~4 drops of RC.

Let's see if another side-avenue of TCP works, fingers crossed Smile

Hi Stevenator,
Many thanks, I'm (like you) loving the injections and TCP (thanks Lotus and Lara for all your hard work and research   Hug  ) and yes, breast growth is what it'll be and certainly enjoying the ride Smile
You are absolutely spot on, how we present and carry ourselves in public really determines how we are perceived. I gave up on compression shirts a long time ago, so just wear my soft seam free bralettes. Although I have two visible bumps on the front these work well for me, even when I wear some of my more fitted polos & t-shirts. Plaid shirts, jumpers and pull over tops are a great safety layer when need LOL.

Maybe non-binary is my cover story for the endo, but that may give them the leverage to put me into the gender clinic (2~3+ yr waiting) system which I'd like to avoid. Anyway as the appointment is unlikely to be before spring time next year, I have lots of time to think about it.
I'll look more into non-binary thanks Smile
