Fenugreek vs PM?

#11

A little update, I've bought some products and put together a little supplement plan for now, I don't know how long it'll take to see some noticable changes but we'll see.

For now im taking ;
650mg capsule Fenugreek (seed) x2, one capsule each morning and evening,
500mg Green Tea Extract (%45 EGCG) x2, one each morning and evening,
Vitamin D3 and Calcium supplement x1, 25ug d3, 600mg calcium

I've already noticed the maple syrup smell after the first day, other than that i didn't notice anything, its been 4 days now.

I'm also thinking of adding Spearmint to the daily routine but i can't find it in capsule form and only in grounded/tea form, I'm still not sure if i should add it or not.

Edit : I'm also strongly considering adding Licorice Root but I'm not so sure because it's also sold in powder form mostly and idk how to measure it.
I really want to lower that damn testosterone.

Karen, please explain why we shouldn't buy extracts… Please include scientific literature to support your claim. I will post (in the X-thread) all relevant scientific literature on extracts and how information posted at nexum has been misleading and misinterpreted.

Thanks, L

What the hell is this? Extracts can be awesome! It all depends on which kind it is, how its made, does it work.... For example PM extracts have been shown to be garbage and raw is much better, but then red clover extract and cayenne extract are working like magic on the topical protocol.

Its not that simple, they're not all the same.

First of all, thank you Lotus and Heaven! I never expected you to reply here- i mean I've seen other threads but didn't expect y'all to reply here.

Anyways, thank you for clarifying that. As to my question, yes i guess PM extract is trash because i finished 2 bottles of Biovea PM and yes it was extract and yes it had 0 effect. Now i have switched to fenugreek and i bought a good brand i guess because it did change my body odor after few days.

But I've heard Fenugreek alone isn't enough so im adding Red Clover extract, though i have a question, is Red Clover in hydrosol form good? I mean i gues it's kind of extract but in liquid form. And what would be best way of taking it? Orally or applying to the skin? And how one would measure it?

I though to chime in earlier and Lotus got to it first and she posted some very detailed explanations about extracts which are all good information and food for thought.

I thought to just mention about my experience, for example, PM extract did exactly zero to me, while raw one worked as expected. Motinga extract as part of the lactation program did seemingly nothing at all either, but Milk thistle 4:1 extract was absolutely fine and did work. As do cayenne and RC.

The red clover extract I have is liquid, its very simple, red clover aerial parts and purified water. It has soft of grassy scent and its almost black in the bottle, brown when applied. Smells kinda funny, like freshly cut grass. Big Grin I use it topically on breasts as described elsewhere on the forum, my own thread and the one Lotus started for this topic alone. Measuring is easy with the dropper, its thick enough to easily count the drops so there's almost zero error.

RC extract is one of the things I would suggest as a part of a full topical program instead on its own, this due to the way it works with progesterone etc.

Is it okay to consume it orally? Like a food? I live in a shared dorm room so i don't always get a chance for alone time when i can apply oil and such.

Yes I think its totally fine. Might taste funny though. Big Grin Perhaps mixed with something else to make it nicer would work? Liquid extract supplements are very much the same as capsules, should be zero problem taking them orally. That RC extract is meant to be taken like that anyway, but apparently topical application is a thing with it. I suspect the effect would be similar but not concentrated on breasts alone of course.

Thank you very much for your time!

Yes i guess it's not meant to applied onto skin, it's just liquid extract. I don't really mind about the taste, and it's okay if it's not concentrated on breasts alone, I'm already okay with small boobs as long as they are... boobs. Overall feminization is my too priority anyway. What im concerned about is that maybe taking it orally reduce it's absorption? I want to use it the best possible way.

I'm not completely certain how differently it works depending on adminstration method, I have only used it topically and for that its awesome. Lotus likely would have a better idea about this. The point about topical use is of course to concentrate on breast development without big changes to over all hormone balance. At least this is my understanding and experience on topicals, that they do not drastically swing my hormone balance, while having a massive effect locally.

I'm not sure how this would apply with a herbal program only as a lot of stuff seems to go on overdrive when used on top of existing female hormone balance. Obviously guys here wont be having that to work with unless they go on conventional HRT.
