Project X (hrt)

Hi Eloise,   Hug

Interesting herb, I'll need to do some more research on it to be able to say how it can/and or can't work for NBE. So far it looks like it does inhibit GnRH, but also estradiol too. I'd like to find human studies too.

The herbal mixture was shown to delay vaginal opening and to downregulate serum estradiol levels as well as the expression of Kiss-1 and GnRH mRNA in the hypothalamus.

Huang Bai showed greater suppressive effect on GnRH mRNA expression than estradiol (P < 0.05). Although estradiol is known to bidirectionally regulate the GnRH secreting neuronal function according to the ovulatory cycle in females, it also decreases GnRH gene expression in GT1–7 cells [16]

The findings of in vitro study suggest that Huang Bai directly inhibits GnRH gene expression in hypothalamus and promotes GH gene and protein expression in pituitary, therefore enhancing possibility of direct actions on GnRH and GH neurosecretory system in vivo. Dose- or time-dependent analysis and further in vivo studies are needed for clear efficacy of Huang Bai on GnRH and GH system.

I'm just glad you're still kicking! I'm impressed you're managing to still manage NBE and grow even while under fire from cancer and the flu!

Good Job and best of luck~

Hello Lotus,

you are truly amazing.
You prove that even at 64, you can still grow breasts, while at the same time managing the ups and downs of life.

While I told someone a few months ago that you have to be patient, I can't wait to grow breasts myself. (The right breast especially)

Take care of yourself.

Thank you Eloise, Aria and Jennifer for the words of encouragement and warm thoughts, I appreciate it.  Heart

Some 2-3 years ago I had an Orchiectomy performed (orchi for short, and is the removal of one or both testicles for those who are unfamiliar with the term/procedure). My goal for the orchi was two-fold. First, I was having terrible pain in my right testicle (that was diagnosed as a blockage in the epididymis).

Epididymitis (ep-ih-did-uh-MY-tis) is an inflammation of the coiled tube, called the epididymis, at the back of the testicle. The epididymis stores and carries sperm. Males of any age can get epididymitis.
https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-cond...c-20363853

The cause of epididymitis was undetermined, even after both testicles were biopsied. I thought it had to deal with prostate cancer.

Secondly, I was planning on getting a GAS (gender affirming surgery), also has been referred to as SRS (sex reassignment surgery in the past) the following year. Then came the diagnosis of Leukemia… well, that changed everything. Smile
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC9630738/

I mean having Leukemia means your bone marrow doesn't produce red-blood cells that fight infection. I couldn't see myself battling cancer and having a vagina that needs healing (from those same red blood cells I make very little of, and constant maintenance).

So, I made the decision not to go forward with GAS. I concluded a non-binary status for myself, I've gone as far as I could to align myself as I could. But... who knows lol, maybe i beat all this health related crap and adds an opportunity. I have no illusions on just how much time I have left, so there's that. I'm not opposed to posting en-femme pictures. And it stands right now, I can't pass in male mode, it's been that way for at least 8 years.  BlushSmile

The technical term used for transwomen getting an orchi is called GAS (gender affirming surgery).

"GAS" is an odd acronym for sex surgeries. You can make light of it (as some funny people do when faced with difficult decisions) and say “yeah, I had my GAS surgery today… and let me say it was a GAS"... lol, wtf right.

Anyone of us (here) pursuing breast growth has my respect. The amount of ridicule, resentment, isolation, depression one endures is a major shift in one's life. The wait omg? (jumping through hoops) to finally get medical insurance is maddening, thus forcing people to go DIY.

There's at least (somewhere) between a half to a dozen Breastnexum individuals who've had vaginoplasty and vulvoplasty  procedures to align their true identity. IMHO, these folks are the pioneers of HRT on this forum who came long ago, having gone farther than most folks will ever do here. And that's their choice, as is just wanting boobs. So, hats off to everyone here.   Hug

I been reading this thread from the beginning.  I'm some where in then60s. You mention a couple massage where you squeeze the breasts together and flex the pecs and the other is trying to move the fat from under the Arms to the brest. Seeing this I guess they do work lol

Okay, BigBoobieBen are you still reading from page 60(s), I haven't heard from you in a long time. Huh Wink  Thank you BillyB for bumping this post. Yes, massaging breasts is a great way to get the blood and hormones moving around. Another important thing to note is how fit is your fat?. Meaning, if you're staying active the mitochondria in your cells respond faster because you're removing systemic inflammation. I've attached science articles in this thread (I think somewhere where we lost BigBoobieBen). If you're using progesterone cream (always after you've grown breast buds first) try adding aloe with the PC. Look up "aloe" in this thread to read up how it helps with breast growth... it is quite remarkable.

The breast massage I spoke of is using your plam of your hand(s) and push inwards on each breast, do 10 to 20 reps, then using the same technique push upwards on your boobs at the same reps, then push outwards too. It's quick & easy, you'll definitely fell the massage once completed all steps. Hug

What progesterone cream or product do you use or recommend, is it something that can be sourced without a prescription? I have been looking into these, and I am not sure if there are any good brands that can be bought on the web without a rx.

Is there anyone here that is in America and feels they have a good brand of progesterone that does not require a prescription? Thank you in advance. I've been trying to search many threads as to what people use and say is typically the best non prescription out there, but I am not turning up anything.

Hi CM213, I take Prometrium capsules (prescribed to me by my HRT doctor).

CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY
PROMETRIUM Capsules are an oral dosage form of micronized progesterone which is
chemically identical to progesterone of ovarian origin. The oral bioavailability of
progesterone is increased through micronization.
(quoted by the manufacturer)

All progesterone starts from a plant source, mostly using wild yam. Micronizing makes the plant source become bioidentical progesterone (USP).

I take one capsule orally because during liver metabolism the progesterone capsule further breaks down into ketosis, which helps with overnight weight loss (from my experience). Additionally, I'll use two more capsules (for a total of 300 mg). I'll either decide to take them rectally or spread each capsule (after poking a hole in it) on my breasts.

Some get pharma strength progesterone from in-house pharmacy (or the like)... when it's available. I think just starting off using PC (like the one you listed) first is okay. Although the one you listed has too many ingredients. I saw an organic PC available, and it looks like all the ingredients used are organic. In the past I started with Smoky Mountain PC (aka SMNutrition) and had good success with.  Hug
