My question is, where would they get the body to transplant the head TO??

Well, with a brain transplant, you have to cut the hair, cut away the skin, cut away the skull, cut out the brain (and that goes for BOTH parties), then replace your divots including a plate in place of the hole in the skull....to replace a head, all you have to do is cut them both off at the neck and then reattach them to the new body.
Either way, it'd be pretty wild to be put to sleep as a guy and wake up 40-some hours later as a girl WITHOUT having to deal with passing, dilation, and incredibly sore crotch and/or chest and having people doubt that you ARE a girl, now that you have fully functional parts that have ALWAYS been a part of your new body! You'll probably already have the voice and either a bit of make-up or some facial surgery will take care of the rest! And, you'll probably be able to use your new body accordingly (sexually) shortly after the operation, instead of having to wait a few months, or so.

I'll bet it would be a pain the neck though....

I imagine swapping heads would be a lot easier than swapping brains. Then you just have to worry about the connection with the spinal column. Wiring up the eyes would be especially tricky.
