I'm just wondering if anyone can see my posts, and if there's anything I can do to make them more visible?.. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think quite many members click the "New Messages" button, and see then a list of all new posts. At least I check it nearly every time.
The second important thing is to post in correct forum and have it in a meaningful thread / name your new thread meaningful way.
