Personally, I'm not a fan of peanuts. They wreak havoc on my stomach and they're kind of boring. Now cashews and pistachios are another story: could live on those! And apparently longer!

Yeah i know what you mean personally i love pistachios and cashews too myself also pine nuts..... but have you ever tried macadamia nuts....Those are DEVINE. Though they are pretty expensive

To be bit more serious after my first comment: macademia nuts are delicious, and also contain a lot of "useful stuff" such as good fiber and antioxidants. I like cashews, too, but for some reason my wife doesn't appreciate them. I like all nuts. (However peanut isn't really a nut, it is actually a legume.)

Only half-a-step off topic:

Last week I bought a large bag of hazelnut flour and made a cake with it and oatmeal. Family did like it very much. I have never seen any recipe for that combo, but my improvisation, inspired by some oatmeal cake recipes, worked out pretty well.
