I have been experimenting with trying to lactate. I have noticed blurred vision within a day or two when I start with serious pumping. The blurred vision is not related to anything I am taking, as If I stop pumping for a few days and vision returns to normal. Has anyone else run into this issue? Is it safe to continue?

Lactation pumps should have zero effect on eyesight. That's so strange.

I agree it is very strange, although it has happened multiple times now.
My body is probably getting very confused, I 'nurse' for 2 days then end up stopping for several days. Done this 3 times now, same result blurred vision. I just did a 15 minute session and one nipple was a bit wet again already. I think I will keep at it all week and see if the vision issues go away. I'm not as worried now as I have proven it does go away when I quit.

Been pumping of sometime never had blurred vision, strange reaction maybe check your blood pressure when pumping --that's the only thing I could think of. Impressive that you can lactate --keep us posted on how successful you are in increasing the volume.

Have been pumping for about a year, a couple times a day, just not real real consistent. I am now full time work at home, so trying to do 10m every couple of hours. Plus added fenugreek in addition to my normal NBE stack. I have had a drop or two along the way, but only from one nipple. Not sure how far I will get without dom.

I'm still having issues with blurred vision when I use the breast / lactation pump multiple times a day, every day. Within a day or two of stopping vision returns to normal. After much research, and a CT scan it seems related to the size of my larger than normal pituitary gland. My theory is constant nipple stimulation causes it to swell and presses on the optic nerve. As for now, I have given up on lactation.

Good to know what the problem is --shame you can't continue your quest to lactate. Maybe if you cut back on pumping you can reach happy medium --no blurred vision but continue to lactate
