I am not sure if this is in the right section but will ask anyway .....
Spearmint tea seams inordinately expensive here in the UK. Given that spearmint grows very freely, I was thinking about growing it at home.
Has anyone done this please and what to I need to know about varieties, picking/drying etc.
Does home grown produce a product with as much anti T effect as commercial teas?
Can we just eat the leaves and will it still have anti-T effects or does it need to be mashed to release the chemicals?
