Thanks, girls. I wish I had known years ago what I now know. Now all I see is age. I think I might actually have been pretty once, long ago... sigh.

I never liked the word pretty - something a bit belittling and prissy about it.. You are outright beautiful, and don't forget or deny it. I don't think that the new me even now could get hooked on dancing, and in any case I'm far too unsteady on my feet, but I'm sure I could enjoy watching you. I've noticed that when girls really kick up their heels they become younger and more beautiful anyway, and you start off with great looks. Forget about the age; you're a lot younger than I am and I still have difficulty in 'thinking old'.
