It sounds/seems like a lot of them in that video only care about transitioning physically, not vocally. It's actually pretty cool!! Like, "I'm the way I am, accept me!! I don't HAVE to change my voice, too."
Can't say much for the music, though. But, I think it's just that I've danced FAR, FAR away from that type of music over the past few decades and, now, simply find this stuff rather plebian; pedestrian.
