I was born in 1970, one year before they stopped using DES (according to a quick Google search). This probably goes without saying but a popular concern of parents of trans children is that THEY somehow caused the child to be trans. For that reason, I will not ask my Mom if she took it. I wouldn't want to make her feel the least bit responsible for any of it. Furthermore, it doesn't really matter. I am the way way I am. I LIKE the way I am. And even if I didn't, there's not much I can do about it except to make the most of my situation, which I am already trying to do. I know not everyone has a good relationship with their parents so what I've said will be received by everyone a little differently.
