On that topic, I believe the first true herbal source of progesterone discovered is from the leaves of the walnut tree.

Coincidentally, when I first read about this, I was eating a fair number of walnuts as part of a high fat / low carb diet lifestyle. Further coincidentally, it was about the same time as my boobs started to round out a bit.
Note that the hormone was found in the leaves, not the nuts - but I did eat a lot.
I'm not claiming there is a link, just wondered if it was worth investigating. They taste good, anyway!
