[The First Aria]

My wife works for a very large financial, planning and insurance company. At one time, she was transferred to another complex temporarily due to remodeling.

I met her for lunch one day, and there was a guy wearing either a salmon colored or pink above the knee skirt. He also had a white shirt and tie on.

Everyone TRIED not to look at him, but he had to have known he had 90% of the people gawking at him.

So, I can not say it never happens, but that was the only time in my 60 yrs I can say a dude wore anything like that.

So far, in just the past 10 years, if that, including the other day, I've seen at least 4 or 5 guys wearing skirts. Very casually, mind you! Okay, one of them was wearing a Utilikilt, but, as I've said, it was still a skirt. I'm SURE the company only CALLED it a kilt so guys wouldn't be afraid to wear it! What scares me away from it is the fact that it's incredibly baggy and it costs well over $300.00!!!! http://www.utilikilts.com/ I won't even pay $20.00 for a pair of jeans!! Okay, so I'm half Scotch.

And evidently as tight with money as the stereotypes, right??? LOL

I once, a while back, joked to my wife about wearing a Kilt. She said she didn't care, but I would have to explain to the Grand Kids. Not sure if she was given it back in kind, or serious. Oh well, I had other things on my mind at the time. LOL

Um, well, not really, I'd think. I mean, I'm not going to pay more than something is really worth, simply because I don't always have much money and my parents grew up in the depression era and knew how to save a buck, so, I'm just into spending lots of money just because I need something, when I know I can get it cheaper elsewhere. But, if I had a few million, I'd LOVE to walk around and give some of it away to people that really need it!!
I'm also Irish with Slovak and German blood. Grandma said that she's from German royalty. DO feel appropriately honoured, peasant!! ;-)
