I've been trying to put this (you're question) into some context...... it's funny how I've gone down a research rabbit hole, I had noooo desire for such stuff. As it seems....one door of research opens another door of research (NBE possibilities lol), pretty soon you have all these open doors that needs closing (answering). To answer you're question froger, yes, I dunno what type (format) it would be?, but I'd like to put the info together and see where it leads. (Here's an example of this mindless/endless pursuit).


For what's it's worth I don't think NBE has to be held hostage by BO or PM. Meaning other options exist that turn off the androgen signal (DHT), which is the biggest obstacle in genetic male breast growth. The breasts have many receptor types, the ones that have the biggest impact on breasts are androgen receptors (the percentage varies according to some studies [20% to 40% though), estrogen receptors and glucocorticoid receptors. Enzymes are also important, e.g. 5 alpha reductase, aromatase.

Here's some recent findings from scientific papers I've come across, sorry, this might be complicated but also essential to answer breast growth.

Aromatase activity can be upregulated by either testosterone or 5a-dihydrotestosterone binding to AR, thereby increasing the availability of 17b-estradiol. Both 17b-estradiol and 5a -androstane-3b,17b-diol can bind to ERb, which can downregulate AR expression. In addition, ER-β also binds the metabolite of 5A dihydrotestosterone (DHT).......(that's a biggie).

5alpha-Androstane-3beta,17beta-diol (3beta-diol), an estrogenic metabolite of 5alpha-dihydrotestosterone, is a potent modulator of estrogen receptor. Yes, we already know 17b-estradiol (E2) binds to estrogen receptors, now I find out 3 beta diol binds to estrogen receptors (I knew 3 beta-diol had some back end action attached) which means 3 beta diol offers a estrogenic pathway.
