I used to cycle between wearing panties and conventional male briefs. About 16 years ago I grew frustrated with alternating and decided it was easier to simply toss all of my male briefs and accept that I felt better wearing panties. I don't recall this being a discussion point in my marriage. My wife doesn't care what kind of underwear I choose to wear.
