I've always wanted permanent hair removal of my face as I hate shaving. Unfortunately I don't have the cost in my budget. But I do have a budget in place to pay off all debt so maybe in 6 or 7 years it can be something that rises to the top.
I must say I had to look close to see that I actually have hair on my hands. My arm hair stops at my wrist and what is on my hand is visible but fine and sparse. My beard though is a different thing altogether and since it has gone mostly gray, laser removal is almost certainly ruled out. Currently though it bothers me more to shave than not to shave. So once a month or two I shave and get a haircut.
Here is an article on a trans-woman who kept her beard but got the hair on her arms removed. Just goes to show that there is a wide spectrum of folks trying to figure things out.
