Also in my research, i have come across articles that state lime oil, lemon oil and cinnamon oils all increase folicular growth.
I suspect for ythe fruits at least, the natural citric acid may clear out the clogged pores as well as nourish them with vitamin c. Just a theory.
I have to say that if it were so easy I would guess that one of the large and well funded companies out there who are actively searching for something just like this would have discovered something already? But there again, accepted wisdom out there is herbal NBE doesn't work either, so who knows?
However, I do wonder if a 3 pronged topical approach may have some success?
1) Clear out the pores.
2) Really go after DHT. Wait for a short while to allow for full effect.
3) Only then stimulate the follicle.
As with NBE, the supplements we use are by themselves relatively innocuous. It's when used in combination they can be powerful. If the follicle is only dormant, than I don't see why an approach like this isn't possible? Unfortunately for me, the top of my head has been seeing sunshine for nearly 20 years so I don't make for a good test subject. But I think this could make for a VERY interesting project if someone with a less established case of dome-head were to investigate? A nice little earner in fact! nudge, nudge ;-)
there is also this: http://thehormonediva.com/jojoba-oil-treatment-for-hair-loss/
this is the thing with "big business" all the chemicals and other additives which cost lots of money , allow them to charge more. with all the pieces of the puzzle all over the place, a good researcher can piece them together, albeit slowly.
I have known for ages, that rosemary "tea" (steeped rosemary in hot water) makes for a good rinse and is healthy for hair. once of my recent findings is that the essential oil of rosemary, diluted in a carrier oil is good for hair growth as well. be sure to read the full article about the jojoba oil , and HOW MUCH to use. a little goes a long way.
its worth the effort and trial, in my opinion, if your pate is shining bright.
like NBE, it all takes time and a lot of patience.
Hi Tanya
Unfortunately you are quite right. Big business in all it's different (Armani) suits have far too much power and control. Though I suppose it could be argued it has always been such. The one big difference now is the internet and the goldmine of information squirreled away in its dark little corners. And for those who are able to search there are true nuggets to be found.
Thanks for posting the links. Have had a look and it doesn't look too expensive to try. Will read up a bit more and see what else is out there (always good to confirm before experimenting) but I may actually be tempted to give this a go. Hey, if it works for me it will work for everybody!
But following on from the previous comments, could this be stage 3? Having cleared out the pores and squished DHT, this surely will be a lot more effective?
As I say, I am tempted to give this a go so why don't we try to nail this down a bit?
What would be best for clearing out the pores?
Know PC would be the best topical for going after the DHT, but looking to keep that in reserve for my NBE programme. Any other suggestions?
hehe you said squirreled away..
