Panty liners are a good choice for saving your undies from getting soaked,as well as your pants. (saves for some embarrassing taunting).
Also too, its just another reinforcement of what womanhood is all about.
I am sure in time, it will be a non-embarrassing issue to go to store and purchase them for yourself.(unless there is a really hot guy , who is the cashier). that might just make you a bit uneasy.
Thank you for sharing your personal experience, I am sure that you will find that your not alone in this, as others will reply as well.
*hugs*
Woo hoo, another confirmation that I am not Aby!! (AbyNormal). Yes, so I am rather relieved about that. I feel a bit more at ease that I won't be potentially putting myself at risk for future embarrassment with potential visual cues as to what's going on. I mean I am sure I could get away once or twice with, oh, just washed my hands and got splashed by the faucet, but eventually that's going to wear thin.

I'm not sure how soon it will not be an embarrassing situation for me, as I am just a bit shy like that. Yeah, apparently I would suck at poker, I wear my emotions in plain sight.
Wait, what? Cute guy... eww... maybe...

**HUGS** Thank you Miss Tanya!
