It's been a while but just had my latest diabetes review and blood tests and thought it might be helpful to bring things up to date.
Blood sugar is now 5.5 and stable (was 5.9).
Cholesterol is now 1.19 HDL (was 2.9, then 1.37)
So basically slap bang in the normal range.
Fantastic news! Keep it up!
I see my doctor on Monday, I have
a feeling my last A1c number will be up. :/

I keep hoping it was a misdiagnosis for me, but, my
doctor has usually been correct in the past...

OK, I'm envious, I have been plateaued for a couple of
months at 270, however that is a site lower
than 315...

Huggy.
The curves are slowly shaping up, (interesting
to see a teeny bit of width added to the hips)
but won't be much more noticeable until some more
of the 'ol fat goes away, so, I am hitting
the gym this week, now that I have settled
my knees down (piriformis muscles pinching
nerves, which causes pain from the butt to the
ankles (and to the family jewels - OUCH!) at times,
got the problem from
overdoing the exercise bike a few years ago -
but have figured out how to make the issue stop)
