This is what I have too. A donut surrounding the nipple with no tissue behind.
It's baffling to me because everywhere you go on the internet you read "you get a dime size hard lump behind the nipple which then grows to a quarter and then fills out the breast".
That's not what I have at all. I have nothing at all behind the nipple, just an empty gap. But I have something like a thin flat donut a little larger than a quarter surrounding my nipple.
