Break them in slowly, or you will wind up with a pair of chafed, blistered nipples--that's what happened to me when I got mine. I recommend no more than 20 minutes a day for the first week or so. By the end of two weeks maybe you can move up to an hour. I don't use the lip balm the supplier recommends, but A+D ointment, which reduces the stress on the delicate skin of the nipple and provides a nice seal.
