I was never able to grow a full beard- too splotchy- but what I had unfortunately grew fast, requiring daily shaving.   I had a mustache for many years.  I hated it, but my wife loved it, so I wore it for her.  For this reason, and the fact that my skin gets red and angry easily , my face was one of the last places I did hair removal.  

I never liked facial hair, and love the velus hair "peach fuzz" I have now- adds a lot to passability I think, and takes a few years off the face as a bonus.
