whilst I don`t have to maintain 2 wardrobes anymore, for a while I did, and I found that if you can buy just 1 item a week everyweek it soon mounts up!
and you get to spread your wardrobe over the seasons too, which is really nice and much better than blowing a whole wad of cash in one go and then having nothing for autumn of winter wear etc...
concentrate on single items that can go with your other things to make a whole new outfit rather than buying complete new outfits at a time. it also helps when you develop your own personal style too, it helps filter out many things you Might buy but would be a mistake
aim for Comfortable shoes too, a couple of pairs of sensible heels are fine, but comfy shoes will be your smartest purchase
also buying scarves is a great way to re-invent an old outfit or top, and they don`t cost much.
