Julie - I've found that the Estrodiol patches hold on very well in the shower as long as you apply them on clean skin first.  I've even run the razor over them and rubbed body cream over them and they don't loosen their grip much at all so yes, they do have a really good adhesive on them. 

Now, if you have really oily skin, you might want to run a bit of an alcohol rub first to clean the area first before applying, but other than that you should be ready to rock and roll!
