A bit of backstory... When I was a child in junior high, I started gaining weight and eventually what appeared to be breasts. I got berated constantly when changing in gym class for these. Got in to a few fights for these. I was on meds for various conditions since before I hit puberty too, which likely had the biggest impact here. I ended up developing these right alongside, and even bigger than, some of the girls, almost to the point where I wondered if I was going through some sort of pseudo-female puberty.
Still, in my later years (I'm 29 now), I began to wonder now if the breasts I have are "real breasts", or if they are just fat build up. I've read differences between say, gyno and fat, but I can't tell still. I hear it also isn't unusual for boys now a days to have some gyno too in early maturity, but it is supposed to subside as you grow out of puberty. These that I have however, never really subsided for me...
My question then is, which form of "boobs" do I have? Fat, or Tissue? Many often say there is supposed to be some sort of hardness right below the nipple if you have breast tissue, but what I feel is several smaller, almost pea to smallish grape size, radiating in a circular pattern of build up around the areola. It is almost like a volcano shape, a concave form starting from the nipple and building up to a circular ledge that extends to the edge of the areola, though if I push a bit deeper past that hollow it feels like there may be something larger below.
Sorry if this isn't a place to post such a question, but I've been going through much personal dilemma and confusion lately that got me curious to know the answer to this. I've attached images too if that helps.
